AWAKEN is a successful, person-centred clinical practice run by
Syl Mercer, based in Lancashire and providing services both nationally &
internationally.
Syl is a fully qualified Licensed and Registered Homeopath
trained in both classical and esoteric forms of Homeopathy and Emotional
Trauma work. Her professional background is in Emotional/Behavioural work
with those suffering from abusive/traumatic experiences. She holds BSc (Hons)
in Homeopathic Medicine and Post Graduate certification in Esoteric
Homeopathy, is a registered member of The Society of Homeopaths and a friend
of The Alliance of Registered Homeopaths.
Syl has been a Healing practitioner for over 11 years and is a
Reiki Master offering Reiki training/attunements to all – she trains NHS
nurses in Reiki for use within cancer services in hospitals.
Since September 2007 Syl has been a tutor and clinician for The
Lakeland College of Homeopathy. She very much enjoys finding imaginative
ways of facilitating the learning process with her students so that
self/spiritual growth alongside practitioner development skills shall expand
their awareness and realise their optimum potential.
Syl is currently developing healing practises with
bodywork and sound therapy using Cranio-Sacral therapy, Shamanic drumming,
and the Tibetan bowl alongside Homeopathy and Healing to gain a deeper
understanding of dis-ease and the healing process to expanded consciousness
and true health.
Spiritual retreats, workshops and journeying
with meditation are very much increasing as a part of Syl’s services that
she facilitates. It is an area of her work that is growing, expanding and
always feels very inspiring to both her and her clients
